This slightly convex disc with this starred pattern is a traditional piece of golden triangle ethnic groups, which often adorns the clothes in place buttons. Made without molding, in solid and pure silver. The loop is cut, hand -stabbed, repelled and patinated. The pattern is an eight-branch star, which is often found in Southeast Asia Ethnic groups including Han in China for millennia. Very protective form, it generally represents the solar star and its rays. But among the Miao, it evokes the myth of creation and symbolizes through the toothed wheels used on the old looms, the "weaves" of the origins.
